After training several clients on how to correct their riding technique with pilates exercises I'm about to launch my new venture - 'Rider Pilates'.
As with any sport it's important to have both physical fitness and suppleness and riding is no exception. But you first need to ensure you have good posture, balance, core stability and co-ordination off the horse. Through engagement of your postural muscles and re-addressing any muscle imbalances you can be much more connected and in tune with your horse.
